The world
A survival server that behaves like it has rules worth keeping.
RenderFrost is a long-term survival world. PvP is off by default, everyone is whitelisted, and the community runs on one idea: your build is yours, and so is everyone else’s.
That means you can leave a chest open, go offline for a month, and come back to your base exactly as you left it. It also means griefing is taken seriously and investigated, with rollbacks considered for verified server-side problems rather than ordinary accidents.
What makes it different
Four things RenderFrost does deliberately.
PvP is off by default
Nobody gets to attack, trap or lava you without agreeing to it. Friendly fights are welcome, by consent, and everyone else is expected to leave the fight alone.
Clear, honest rollback rules
Rollbacks are considered for verified server-side problems: severe lag, crashes, confirmed server disconnects. Ordinary deaths and mistakes are part of survival, and the policy says so plainly.
Whitelist, staff-verified
Only staff can add players. New members spend at least 15 days here before they can recommend someone else, so trust is earned rather than assumed.

What is the server address?
play.renderfrost.com — copy it from the button at the top
of this page or from the footer. There is no separate port to type in.
Which version of Minecraft do I need?
RenderFrost SMP is a Java Edition server. Discord is the place to confirm the exact supported version before you connect.
How do I get whitelisted?
Can I bring a friend?
Yes, but not immediately. You need at least 15 days on the server from your first login before you can recommend another player, and they still have to complete verification. Meeting the 15-day requirement does not guarantee approval.
Are mods allowed?
Litematica and Tweakaroo are permitted when used responsibly and without an unfair advantage. X-Ray resource packs, hacked clients, Meteor Client, seed crackers, resource locators and duplication exploits are all prohibited.
Is PvP enabled?
PvP is disabled by default. Fighting is only permitted when the players involved have agreed to it, and other players are expected not to interrupt an agreed fight.
Will I get my items back after I die?
Not for an ordinary death. Falls, lava, mistakes and mobs are part of survival. Inventory rollbacks are only considered when a verified server-side problem directly caused the loss, so report it to staff with any evidence you have.
Can I build anywhere?
Build freely, but build responsibly: avoid farms and redstone that lag the server, keep sensible distance between large projects, and never modify the Spawn Village without staff permission.
